About

The Faith Full Podcast tells true stories about the Catholic faith in today’s world through compelling, narrative audio journalism.

The independent, listener-supported, award-winning project is hosted and produced by Tony Ganzer, a long-time public media journalist and writer by trade, and a Catholic by choice and upbringing. He has reported on many things over 15 years in the US and Europe, from Swiss Parliament to the plight of refugees, but religion and faith have always held a special place.

Some say religion is a third-rail for journalists because one wrong move can bring strong reaction. But it’s through dialogue that we can better understand parts of our life experiences, and better understand aspects of the Catholic faith.

A story from our first episode about a chance, late-night encounter in a Denny’s might help set the table for you. You can get a more personal insight into the project in this episode.

‘The best antidotes to falsehoods are not strategies, but people: people who are not greedy but ready to listen, people who make the effort to engage in sincere dialogue so that the truth can emerge; people who are attracted by goodness and take responsibility for how they use language..’
