The mission of Faith Full Podcast is to bring compelling audio storytelling about the Catholic faith, spirituality, religion, and life.
The independent, award-winning project is hosted and produced by Tony Ganzer, a journalist and writer by trade, and a Catholic by choice and upbringing. He reported on many things over 15 years, from Swiss Parliament to the plight of refugees, but religion and faith have always had a place. Some examples: the experience of a short-term friar in Switzerland; about the first stand-along temple for Hindus in Switzerland; about a ‘prayer amplifier‘ in Arizona.
Some say religion is a third-rail for journalists because one wrong move can bring strong reaction. But talking to each other in a measured way, about topics or times that affect us all to our deepest levels, can only be a good thing. Our program tries to do this through narrative, sound-rich storytelling.
A story from our first episode about a chance, late-night encounter in a Denny’s might help set the table for you.
‘The best antidotes to falsehoods are not strategies, but people: people who are not greedy but ready to listen, people who make the effort to engage in sincere dialogue so that the truth can emerge; people who are attracted by goodness and take responsibility for how they use language..’
